This beautiful 6 bedroom Villa for rent is located in Tavira, in the heart of the Ria Formosa Nature Reserve and close to the small town of Fuseta.

Outside:
The enclosed Moorish-style courtyard is the entrance to the house and has an outdoor area with an olive tree in the center.

There are extensive gardens with a large saltwater swimming pool (6mx13m) opening out to panoramic island and mountain views.

The pool has an integrated electric cover which, if closed, heats the water. Among the garden, at the bottom of the pool, there is a bathroom and an external shower.

There are covered and uncovered terraces, an enclosed patio and a well-equipped summer kitchen set amongst gardens of olive trees.

The covered summer kitchen houses the barbecue area, equipped with a large gas grill, wood charcoal grill, pizza oven, dishwasher, fridge and sink and has a sociable food prep area.

There is also a Boccia/Petanque sand area for outdoor games.

On the roof of the house there is a large panoramic terrace. The detached guest house has a garden terrace overlooking the sea.


Inside:
The library is a semi-open private area divided by arches and has a fireplace. The library also opens onto the enclosed courtyard on one side and onto the garden terrace on the other side.

The open dining area seats twelve and leads out to the front and west side garden terraces.

The living room has an open handcrafted Moorish style wood fire and gives access to the front garden terrace.

There are ceiling fans in every room and instead of air conditioning units there is floor cooling so there is no cold draft but an overall feeling of coolness like the interior of a church in summer.


Bedrooms:
On the ground floor there is a suite with a queen-size bed, which is accessed through the enclosed patio. This cozy room features a private terrace overlooking the garden.

A comfortable double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom opens onto the enclosed courtyard. If desired, the beds can be joined together to become a king size.

Another twin bedroom with en-suite bathroom opens onto the front terrace as well as the guest house terrace and enjoys garden and sea views.

The master suite is on the first floor and has a large walk-in closet that has a small French balcony overlooking the enclosed courtyard.

The dressing area leads through an archway to the sleeping area with a king-size bed. From here is a large private terrace with an outside staircase leading to the garden and swimming pool.

The full bathroom with ocean views also has its own private terrace.

The guest house has two double bedrooms en suite with sea views and opens onto a private outdoor terrace in the garden, as well as a fully equipped kitchen.

The main house and guest house are one building, but completely independent units.


Kitchen:
The kitchen is fully equipped with a center island. The bar built into the island divides the kitchen area from the dining area.

There is a large oven and combination microwave, a Teppenyaki, a 5-burner gas stove, two sinks, a refrigerator and a small TV hidden in one of the kitchen cupboards.

The service kitchen adjacent to the kitchen has an American fridge and an extra sink.

The laundry room is accessed through the service kitchen and is equipped with a washing machine, tumble dryer, sink and ironing set and gives access to an outdoor drying patio.
